Nite Ize LED & Tail Cap Upgrade for MagLite AA Torch is a 3-LED replacement for the Maglite xenon bulb. The LED's have a longer lifespan, use less power and are shock-resistant compared to the conventional bulb. This is installed by unscrewing the head of the torch and replacing the existing bulb and reflector. The LED replacement has a fixed flood beam, unlike the focusable original bulb and reflector.

The Nite Ize tailcap is a push button on / off switch which replaces the orignal tailcap in Maglite AA torches. It is not compatible with newer, Mag-LED torches. The tailcap switch is first activated by rotating the torch head to the on position.
